Placing Bets

To place a bet, click on the Chips buttons located at the bottom of the screen. As you click on the various denominations, the total dollar amount will be displayed as the current unit bet. This is shown at the top of the Deluxe Blackjack window. To decrease this amount, hold down the Option key on your keyboard and click on the chips. Once you have the desired unit bet, click on any of the six betting seats on the table. If you want to change the amount of the unit bet after placing a bet or dealing a hand, simply click the Chip buttons. The unit bet will reset to the amount of the chip you clicked.

Increasing Bets

To increase a bet, move your cursor directly over the bet you want to increase and click the mouse button. The bet will increase by the amount of the current unit bet.

Decreasing Bets

To decrease a bet, move your cursor directly over the bet you want to decrease, hold down the Option key on your keyboard, and click the mouse button. The bet will decrease by the amount of the current unit bet.

Removing Bets

There are two ways to remove individual bets from the blackjack table. The first is to click on the Remove button located at the bottom of the Deluxe Blackjack window. The cursor will change to a red casino chip with a '-' in the center. Just click on the bets you want to remove and they will be returned to your bankroll. The second way to remove bets is to hold down the Option key on your keyboard and click on the bet you want to remove. Since the bet will only decrease by the amount of the current unit bet, you may have to keep clicking until the bet is completely removed. Note: You must remove your winnings from the table unless you want to bet them again.

Clearing the Table

To remove all bets from the table, click the Clear button at the bottom of the Deluxe Blackjack window.

Auto Bet

This feature allows you to always play the same amount of money for all active hands. Just select the amount you want to bet for each new hand. Seats that don¹t have any bet wagered when the Deal button is pressed will automatically bet the amount selected.

Shoe Setup

This feature allows you to select from one to six decks of cards. It also allows you to select whether you want to see the two cards that are buried at the end of each shuffle.

Seat Setup

This feature allows you to configure seats for manual betting, auto betting, or a computer controlled player.

Show Hand Totals

This toggle feature shows the total of each hand. The total appears next to the hand and is updated as each additional card is dealt. When a soft hand is dealt, the total shown will be the highest possible total, without going over 21.

Stand

Press this button when you don¹t want any more cards for that hand.

Hit

Press this button when you want another card for that hand.

Double

Press this button when you want to double your bet and receive just one more card. The amount of your flat bet will automatically be doubled for you.

Split

Press this button when you want to split your hand into two hands. Your cards will be split apart, and the amount of your flat bet will automatically be wagered for your second hand. Play each hand out separately as normal. Only one split is allowed per hand.
