Game Options

Show Scores... - Displays the high score list.

Clear Scores - Clears the high score list.

Auto Play - Scoring moves will be made automatically.

Confirm New Game - A dialog box will appear asking if you are sure you want to start a new game.

Confirm End - A dialog box will appear asking if you are sure you want to end the game.

Sound - Toggles sound on and off.

Appearance... - Allows you to change the background, card backs, deck style and highlight color.

Show Stats... - Show the game statistics.

Clear Stats - Clears the game statistics.

Suit Options - Deluxe Spider allows you to play with one, two, or four suits. This greatly affects the difficulty of the game. One suit is relatively easy, two suits is moderately difficult, and four suits can be quite difficult. This option can be selected from the Suits Submenu in the Options Menu. A separate high score list is maintained for each suit option.

Game Rules

The object is to move complete sequences of cards of the same suit to the foundation piles. The sequence must be from King to Ace. The entire sequence must be dragged to a free foundation space. Individual cards can not be played to the foundation. The game is won once all of the cards are moved to the foundation spaces.

Tableau

Cards can be built down in value, regardless of suit. Any single card or column of cards on the tableau may be played on another pile as long as the column is the same suit and built in sequence. Because of this, it is best to build in suit whenever possible, even though it is not required. Empty tableau spaces may be filled with any available card.

Stock

Clicking on the stock will deal a new card to each tableau space.

Hints and Tips

Press the OPTION key to highlight all valid plays.

Press any number or J, Q, K, A to highlight all cards of that value.

Press H, C, S, D to highlight all cards of that suit.

Press the CONTROL key to temporarily activate auto play.
