Video Poker Help |
Placing
Bets
Press the
Bet One or Bet Max buttons to place your bet. The minimum bet
is $1 and the maximum bet is $5.
Dealing
After your
bet is placed, press on the Deal button to deal a new hand of
five cards.
Drawing
Click on
any cards that you want to keep. The word "Hold" will
appear below each card that you click on. Pressing the Draw
button will then discard and replace each card not marked to
be held. Winning hands are then paid off.
Game
Varieties
Mac Video
Poker plays Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, and Joker Poker. There
is a choice of three different pay tables for each game variety.
Jacks or
Better is the standard video poker game where the minimum winning
hand is a pair of Jacks.
Jacks or
Better 6-5 (High Return)
Jacks or Better 8-5 (Higher Return)
Jacks or Better 9-6 (Highest Return)
In Deuces
Wild, all of the 2's can be used as wild cards to form winning
hands,

Deuces Wild 10-8-4-4 (Higher Return)
Deuces Wild 10-8-4-3 (Highest Return)
In Joker
Poker, a Joker is added to the deck as a wild card.

Game
Menu
Select a
game variety and pay table from the Game Menu.
Options
Menu
Sound -
Toggles the sound on and off.
Auto Hold
- Cards forming winning hands will be automatically marked to
be held.
Bankroll
Setup - Allows you to set the starting bankroll amount and the
casino marker. The casino marker is the amount the casino will
lend you if you run out of money.
Game Summary
- Shows a summary of the number of games played, won, and lost.
It also show a count for each possible winning hand.
Wager Summary
- Shows wagering statistics and the percentage pay back for
each game variety.
